Haley Scott

Haley is excited to join the Slotegraaf Niehoff Team as a summer law clerk. Haley is a rising 3L at Indiana University Maurer School of Law. She currently serves as Executive Articles Editor for Volume 29 of the Indiana Journal of Global Legal Studies. She is also a volunteer for Outreach for Legal Literacy, spending time each week teaching Bloomington fifth graders about civics and the law. Haley is passionate about being a lifelong student, and loves that her future career as a lawyer will allow her to constantly learn more.

Haley graduated from Indiana University in 2017 with a Bachelor of Science in Arts Management and a Bachelor of Arts in Anthropology, both with high distinction. After graduating, she relocated to Nashville, Tennessee but was excited to return to Bloomington two years later to work towards earning her J.D.

Haley grew up in central Indiana, but Bloomington has always been her second home. Four generations of her family have called Bloomington home, and she spent almost every holiday and childhood summer here. Haley loves travelling, having participated in two study abroad programs in Cuba and the Netherlands through her undergraduate programs. When she isn’t in the office, Haley loves taking advantage of everything Bloomington has to offer: watching films and live music, enjoying a great cup of coffee, and hiking the area’s numerous beautiful trails.
